Syphilis is a highly contagious disease that’s mostly spread through sexual activity, including oral and anal sex. The infected person often doesn’t know that they have the disease and passes it on to their sexual partner.

Syphilis is caused by the bacteriaTreponema pallidum. You get it through direct contact with a syphilis sore on someone else’s body. This usually happens during sexual activity, but the bacteria can also get into your body through cuts on your skin or through your mucous membranes.

Syphilis can’t be spread by toilet seats, doorknobs, swimming pools, hot tubs, bathtubs, shared clothing, or eating utensils.

Warts are common Human Papilloma virus infections which can happen at any age and can affect any area of the body.The appearance varies from Cauliflower like (in genital region) to flat or bumpy on other areas of the body.

Warts can be transmitted with direct contact or sharing of common belongings like towels, clothes.

Warts present over the soles are painful & look ugly if located in an exposed area such as the face or hands. So these warts need to be treated early.

Since warts tend to spread easily from one part of the body to other & from one person to another, it needs to be treated.

The treatment options depend on the location and type of warts, like application of a wart medication (salicylic acid + lactic acid) at home over a 16 to 20 week period, freezing with liquid nitrogen (Cryotherapy), burning with Radiofrequency Cautery or Co2 laser. If there are many growths, multiple treatment sessions may be needed every 3-6 weeks until the growths are gone.
